Salamansa Excursion is the result of an old personal dream of its promoter Edson Lopes, where he always wanted to create an activity where he could preserve the traditional fishing activities through its practice and its dissemination among people. Some of the major problems that encouraged the promoter to develop the business were some obstacles imposed on underwater fishing and the high unemployment in his home town.
